Matthew Celmer of MCV worked with Weiss/Manfredi from 2016-2018 as a Project Architect on the second largest office building in the updated U.S. Embassy in New Delhi. Matthew had the exciting opportunity to work for two years on a highly complex project from schematic design through construction documents.
The existing embassy was designed by Edward Durell Stone and was completed approximately sixty years ago. This project entailed a contemporary reinvention of the compound through a combination of restoration and new construction.
